I just listened finished listening to “Raincoat,” Kelly Sweet’s cover song for her debut CD “We Are One.” Her voice is warm, smoky and way too sexy. The video for “Raincoat” is elegant, classy and way too sexy for an 18 year old. That’s right. Kelly Sweet is 18.

The music, bluesy jazz with crisp notes on a honey-smooth melody, is so rich you can taste it. Her lyrics glide effortlessly just on top of the chords in “Raincoat.”. The other pieces are just as smooth and seamless. She has quite a career ahead of her if she continues with this level of professionalism.
